Wale - I'm Ill [Freestyle] Wale doesn't know when to quit. This freestyle is better than his Rude Boy freestyle by far. "I don't rock a fake smile / the game's got cancer I radiate the crowd." and "I don't get a cyst, I'm a stand alone tumor." Wordplay like that puts Wale on top of his game, and on top of a mangled beat.

Glasses Malone - Point The Finger Glasses Malone is probably one of this blogs new favorites. So far in 2010 G. Malone has not failed to produce a popular track. Packed with punchlines and a gritty gangsta style Point The Finger is intense. "but you, you can call me yours / at least for the night, least time I'm bored." After that line, the song gets stoopid right quick.

Playa Fly - Ahead of the Game (Feat. Yo Gotti) At first, with a name like Playa Fly, one would expect something kind of Nappy Boy Radio sounding. Thankfully, Playa Fly has a good sound and a solid song right here. Yo Gotti gets the second verse going strong, like a real nigga do. This joint is hott, don't sleep on Ahead of the Game.

Wiz Khalifa - We're Done The most charismatic playa in the game right here. The beat is an acoustical joint that at times causes Wiz to flow slowly. If anyone knows the female on this track comment it please. We're Done is a solid hit. It's not as lyrical as most singles on here, but who doesn't love the Wiz kid?

Lloyd Banks - Over [Freestyle] Not only does Banks rip this shit, but so do a few more later today. Banks keeps the original chorus from Drake on the track, and he keeps the second first as well. Looking forward to this track, I was a bit disappointed. If you're going to drop on a track, do it better than the original.

Detail - Tatto Foreva (Feat. T-Pain, Lil' Wayne & Travis McCoy) The sound of Detail, and his auto-tune using singing, is kind of annoying for a true hip hop fan. Lil' Wayne has a great line about gettin' on top of a bitches ass. T-Pain, doesn't really say much, but he does say it well. Picture probably ain't Detail though, and I understand this song is probably going to be some big radio hit, but it's not for true hip hop fans.

Papoose commits some real lyrical homicide on this beat. Everyone loves waiting for Pap to spit his magic on the hottest beats. I'm Ill is just another to have fallen victim to his dagger mouth. There usually would be a quote but with Pap, you really have to listen and play it back to appreciate it.

Epic. His name says it all. Never having heard a song from Epic, there was a lot of hesitation. Top of the World is a highly recommended listen, even if you to are hesitant to listen to artists with big ego's exaggerated names. If Epic keeps this up on his mix tape (set to be reviewed this week), he'll be a new blog favorite.

What it do, it's Paul Wall. This is a typical Paul Wall song in every sense imaginable. Honestly though, this song has better lyrics than most other Paul Wall songs do. With that said, the chorus is lacking, and the beat isn't all that special. If you're a Paul Wall fan however, you'll love this song. For that reason it's G'd Up!

Talib Kweli & Bun B spittin' together on a Hi-Tek track? YES PLEASE! This song is dope. The horns set up an epic beat, and the flow of Talib gets better, and faster as the verse goes on. Truly flawless on his part. Before even hearing Bun B, you can tell he'll tear the beat apart. Both emcee's are amazing. Props to Hi-Tek for making such an incredible beat. If the scale went to 5 1/2, they'd be tops.

Red Cafe - I'm Ill [Remix] (Feat. Ryan Leslie, Lloyd Banks & Claudette Ortiz)

Can't figure out why this remix had an R&B intro and hook. It doesn't work well with the beat, or the sound of the song. Red Cafe' and Lloyd Banks rip it. We don't need singing in the rap game, keep it at home. These verses are still fire, and this I'm Ill remix deserves to be downloaded like the others.

The first verse almost makes the picture Jadakiss instead of Red Cafe. Oh wait, forgot to mention the fact that Sheek Louch, and Styles P rip the rest of the song. I'm Ill [Remix] is one of the best remixes this side of '09. This song is an explosion, no lines here, you'll have to listen to this one a few times to wrap your head around it.
