XXL's annual freshman issue has had much hype surrounding it this year. Drink Gas was excited to see Pill & Oj Da Juiceman make the cover, we've been pushing them here for a while, more-so Juice when he emerged last spring. These freshman are runnin' shit. There's no lacking artist, every artist deserves their own cover for puttin' in work how they do. 17 songs packed with more punches than Mike Tyson, the only problem we had with it was why did Pill, Wiz Khalifa & Big Sean only get one song? That's the only gripe with this mix tape. DJ Whoo Kid did a great job, and all the artists represent to the fullest. Look out in the future for these cats, they're on the prowl now.
